DIS, DANISH INTERPRETATION SYSTEMS EXHIBITED CONFERENCE- AND INTERPRETER EQUIPMENT AT INFOCOMM


Our DIS-division was also this year exhibiting at InfoComm. This time we had doubled the size of the booth - and with a new appearance. The new DC 6990P – a conference unit with a built in colour touch screen was received very positively. It is a very unique unit combining AV and IT, as the user interface allows the unit to be used by all types of meeting participants – delegates, chairman, operator, technicians m.m.
The delegates can log in to the system in their own language, vote either by using three or five touch buttons - and on the screen you can see e.g. the agenda, speakers list, voting results and delegate information. The conference unit is connected to the CU via standard CAT5 cables – and can be used together with all other DIS DC 6000 conference equipment.

At the show we also presented the newest in conference software. With the SW 7001 you get the possibility to stream a meeting directly to the Internet, in order for people to follow the meeting from the outside. The meeting is also archived so that it can be seen at a later time. The softwaren catalogues the information. In that way you will later be able to search a speaker or an item on the agenda.
