A spectacular show with elements of fire, water, colours and – James Bond !
The Malmö Festival is now launched for the 20th time, and it offers something for every taste. Besides an impressive selection of musical experiences you are offered food from all corners of the world, cultural installations, tivoli and much more. The city of Malmö will in this way contribute to make Malmö a lively city you like to live in and a city you like to visit.
El Spectaclo is an audio visual show which is projected on a 1000 sqm. big house facade on the long side of the town square. The show is produced by Brånå Vision and has its starting point in the four elements: earth, wind, water and fire but has also input from opera, sport, James Bond and tap-dance. The ambition is to show the audience something everybody likes and understands.
INFORMATIONSTEKNIK has delivered the technical solution for the show which consists of 20 1,3 kW Skytrackers and 3 18.000 ANSI-lumen projectors. The projectors have been placed in a 8,5 metres high tower made of aluminium and anchored with cement weights and a wire construction.
The show is shown every night during the festival Monday through Thursday at 10.45 PM.
On Fridays the show will be on at 00.45 AM.
